'This is treason': Rahul Gandhi hits out at EC after report on differences within commission over SIR

Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has launched a fresh attack on the Election Commission of India (ECI) over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Gandhi shared a video on social media and accused the poll panel of acting against the interests of the people. Sharing a video on X, Gandhi said that the actions being taken by the Election Commission were wrong. He alleged that the process amounted to vote theft and described it as an attack on the country's constitutional framework. Vote theft in India is a crime against the people of India and a direct attack on our Constitution. The BJP, RSS and EC who carried it out have committed treason. Justice will be served, he wrote on X.
